Elizabeth completed her degree in Music Education with Honors in Composition from Gustavus Adolphus College in mid-December. Previous teaching experiences include private flute and piano students and teaching English, Music, and how to give solid high fives to the 7th-9th grade students of LearningWorks at Blake: A Breakthrough Program in Minneapolis. During her four years on campus, Elizabeth additionally served as a piano accompanist for the Gustavus Department of Music and piloted and established a 1st and 2nd grade literacy-based after school program for at-risk students in Saint Peter, MN.
If she could have a super power, it would be to play trumpet well so that she could join an all-ages Drum Corps and relive her high school marching band glory days.
